This is a short film Shaye Scott, Derek Dowsett, and I did on the fly. We wanted to test how well the 5D and 7D shot together. We wanted to show something being blown up (to test out our FXs skills) and create a tension building feel.
Derek was our actor (who did an excellent job!) Shaye had the 7d and shot come clips at 60p to test out the slow motion and I was set to capture the footage for the explosion.
We shot for a couple of hours and had a past doing it. Shaye did a great job coloring and editing the film and I loved creating the explosion.
