We love what we do!
There is a contagious energy that surrounds engaged couples that is a joy to be a part of. Our mission is to provide each couple with a unique expression of their love that can be preserved for generations to come. You have trusted us to capture the most important day of your lives, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Each shot is carefully planned and scripted. In addition, our couples take an active role in dictating the most important items they want to remember, and how (i.e. exchanging the rings, cutting the cake, interviews with guests, wedding party close-ups, etc.). We promise to listen to each idea and incorporate our own creativity into a film that will delight each audience member. We are committed to your satisfaction. To us, it is essential that each couples story be told in a manner that is as unique as they are.
We understand that once this day is only a memory, your video and photos will be the only reminders you have, which is why we work closely with your photographer to ensure that each medium is a complement to the other. We love to get to know our couples and share in the celebration of their union. To us, our clients are new friends, not just another production.
Wedding videos are gaining popularity amongst modern brides.
Not only do videos capture the actions, they also capture the feelings and emotions. Years from now the flowers will have wilted and the cake been eaten, but the video record of your special day lives on.
In a recent national pole of newlyweds done by WEVA (Wedding & Event Videography Association), 68% said that their video is their favorite and greatest reminder for their wedding day.
By choosing to have a professional videographer at your wedding you are choosing to always remember the special moments of one of the most important days of your life.
FAQ
Why Wedding Videography?
Your wedding day is probably the only time you'll have all of your family members and close friends in the same place at the same time. This is truly a part of your personal family history. Video, when done properly, is the absolute best way to preserve it. After seeing the tremendous emotions our videos have brought out, there is little doubt to the power of this wonderful medium.
Unfortunately many couples rely on "Uncle George" with a consumer camcorder to capture the most important day of their lives. The combination of professional digital cameras (giving crystal clear pictures), properly mixed audio (with high quality wireless microphones) and refined editing skills are far beyond the means of the average hobbyist.
How important is it?
How important is a professionally produced wedding video? Only video will allow everyone to relive your wedding day as it actually happened--to see you walk down the aisle, to hear your voices as you exchange vows and rings, to hear and see the toasts, the music, your first dance at the reception... and the chance to preserve the complete story of your wedding day. Of all the brides we have met and spoken with over the years, not one has expressed regret over hiring a professional videographer to capture her special day, but many lament the fact that they didn’t take advantage of their services. Your wedding day only happens once. Put your trust in a professional.
What is in a wedding video?
In addition to a video record of your wedding day, many wedding videos now contain pre-filmed interviews with the couple (often called “Love Stories”), photo montages, and short videos of the couple spending time together. These items are produced before the wedding and ready to display at the luncheon or reception. This is an excellent way for friends and family to get to know you as a couple and take part in your journey. Many brides are also requesting that particular friends or family members be interviewed and share their thoughts or bits of advice. These dialogs become priceless as years pass.
In all reality, if you can dream it, it can be in your wedding video.
Are wedding videos value for your money?
Do not underestimate the amount of time spent and the cost of equipment used to produce your wedding video. Your videographer will work from between 2-9 hours on the day with $20,000 - $30,000 worth of equipment. Followed up with around 30 - 40 hours post production on equipment worth only-who-knows-what.
So you're looking at around 40-50 man-hours to produce a decent wedding video using tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Imagine how much it would cost to hire the cars and drivers for 50 hours!!!. What I am trying to say is that due to the nature of video and the process of video production, your videographer will put more hours into your video than any other vendor will put into your wedding. And brides often think they should cost the least. When it comes to a live memory of your special day, put your confidence in a trained, professional videographer because these events will only happen once.

How to choose a Professional?
In choosing a professional videographer make sure you look at their work. Is this a hobby for them or do they do this full time? You want to have someone who will be willing to spend the time required to create a fun and entertaining video. Do they belong to any associations and are continuing their learning and training? In order to stay current in Video Production technology and techniques RB Studios belong to UPVA "Utah's Professional Videographers Association", and WEVA "Wedding and Event Videographer Association International."

Questions to ask your Wedding Videographer
The technology surrounding video production can be complex and overwhelming. While it is not necessary for you to understand all of the terms, it is important to ask your prospective videographer the following:
What type of camera will be used?
Make sure they are digital and of the highest quality (a home camcorder will not give you the quality you desire).
Do you use wireless microphones?
These are tiny microphones that can often be hidden on the groom and the officiator to insure crisp and clear sound. They are small enough to hide but powerful enough to clearly capture the brides vows although she will not be outfitted with one.
Do you have lighting to mount to your camera or on stands around the room?
While it is often not necessary for professional cameras to use external light sources to capture a clear image, choosing a videographer with lighting will insure that no one is lost in the shadows. This is especially important if any part of your celebration will have mood lighting. Be sure to discuss lights with your videographer, as you do not want the light to blind your guests, but you also want to be sure everyone is seen.
Do you have back-up equipment in case something were to stop working?
Your wedding day only happens once and you want to choose a videographer who is up to the challenge.

Pricing Wedding Videographers
How much should a wedding videographer cost and why?
This is a difficult question to answer because every wedding videographer is different both in experience, style, ability, equipment and what they choose to offer. With that said, generally prices range from just under a thousand dollars to over three thousand. Of course you can still find a few videographers willing to do it for less and, if your budget allows it, some of the top pros offer their incredible services for much more.
With all of the different expenses of a wedding, money can be tight when it comes time to choose a videographer but it's important that you allow enough room in your budget to get a quality videographer. Some people come to the realization not long after their wedding day is over that you won't really care about how cute your napkins were or how fancy the food was. Instead one of the few things that will remain is your wedding video and, if done right, it will be the best record of your happiest day and something to show to friends and family now and those sure to come in the future. With that understanding, make sure you put a respectable portion of your budget towards things that will become keepsakes and not trivial items that soon evaporate after your wedding day.
Another way to understand why wedding videos cost as much as they sometimes can it's important to realize just how much time, money and effort goes into making your wedding video. First of all, thousands upon thousands of dollars are invested in both camera gear and special computers that are well beyond the quality of video cameras you may own or see every day. This gear is often times fairly heavy and the "one shot/one chance" nature of shooting a wedding can be stressful and tiring job.
